Well, there is no volume 11 up to now. This is the topic of this thread : do you think there will be new volumes in the future? Do you have any hints about it?

In my opinion, the answer is "no, there won't be a BLAME! volume 11; at least not with that name". There might be a continuation of the BLAME! world but it's most likely that it would not be called BLAME! and that Killy would not be the main character. Probably there would be all new characters.

I'd love to see a storyline that fleshed out Killy's journey escorting the Net Gene Carrier back into the Megastructure, and how it all turned out in the end, but it's surely unlikely. I would totally understand Nihei-san if he wishes to try his hand at something a little (if not radically) different instead of continuing what he's been doing for pretty long already. Deadheads didn't seem to go very well and it looked sort of uninspired to me; nevertheless, I have confidence that Nihei can pull something just as good, if not better, than BLAME! (he's already done it once, with NOiSE) although it might take some time for him to think it up.

Blame will end with volume 10.
in the german volume 9 there's a page at the end saying that the FINAL volume 10 will be released november 2004... (1 year for one volume.. duh!)

Yes SNIKT! has wonderful art but the text does destroy nihei's style just a little bit, or maybe a lot. The plot isn't that wonderful or solid either.

I agree that Snikt is not a piece of art about the story. Since it is a collaboration with Marvel, maybe Nihei had to make some compromise.

Meh, marvel and dc comics tend to annoy me. They never have a clear start and finish.

While I agree that SNIKT! is not too hot on the plot (and dialogue) side, I have to say that even though BLAME! was short on dialog it was definitely not short on plot. There is no point of comparison between the two besides the art, IMHO.

i was 'shocked' when i read the last page of the german vol.9. i'm very sad that it all will end!! there are so much open questions. vol.10 have to be very big!
the blame universe is so big and a very cool location. nihei should draw/write more storys that play in this universe!

yeah, i agree. the blame universe is laid out to carry enough stories and spin-offs to write several complete series.
compared to "lord of the rings" blame could be only one books of several, like more prequels, stories from abcient times etc.
