Funny thing is, do you know the manga "Dorohedoro"? (if not, strongly recommended). About 22 chapters are out and I only recently read in the credits, that a) the mangaka is a woman and b) she is a former assistant of Nihei-sensei.
You wouldn't guess that if you look at her style and the cool, freakish story

Dorohedoro rules.
If I should describe this manga with one word I'd say "grottesque"
The thing that fascinate me about this manga is that there's a ton of violence but still you can never take it too seriously because the two world are extremely violents by default, and desmembering/slaughtering people seems a normal thing.
Hayashida drawing style seems inspired by litography and reading the manga you have te feeling that everything is dirty, giving a really particular mood (exampe: )
One of the best manga I'm following. If someone could provide me raw scans from volume 3 to 9 I would gladly translate them. Dorohedoro DESERVE to be read.
