Watched Episode 1 and 2. Somehow Gonzo has managed to ruin a hilarious manga series. The humor just isn't there and the execution is mediocre.
Anyone watching this before reading the manga should not take it as any reprisentation of the manga itself, which I assure you is really, really damned funny.

I agree, the anime version isn't as funny as the manga I just hope it gets better in the next episodes. I mean, it's supposed to be a satire, getting too serious about the hikikomori problem is just boring and won't attract people.
[spoiler] why doesn't he inhale drugs before talking to the fridge on the 1st episode? was it sensored, because the girl(whose name I don't remember) dressed as a nun in the bed saying "god is watching me" is as shocking as a guy inhaling drugs, I'm saying shocking in relative terms, this series SHOULD be shocking, I think that's what it lacks. [/spoiler] anyway, I'm waiting for the next releases.

I haven't read the manga, but I think it's pretty funny. Maybe I'm missing out on the manga.
