I see this thread is very old, so sorry if this is not allowed but... I have several amazing music websites that I use on a regular basis. I like a lot of variety, so I tend to mix and match.
It's worth checking these puppies out. I tend to use last.fm the most for streaming music, and then playlist and mixpod are really great playlist sites. Mixpod uses youtube, so you can add songs that aren't normally on playlist.com to that player.
Musicovery is all about hearing music you've probably never heard of before in your life. It's a good way to just explore. Pandora is also very popular, but I still prefer last.fm.
