@Cailon
Thanks, I´m glad to found this great forum. There are all over the net small groups of blame! fans like groups of humans in the megastructure
I will add a link to this forum somewhere on my site, but I don´t know where.
Interesting informations.
A friend who showed me the BLAME! books and I started to reading them, said that he thought that Killy had all the time the networkgenes in his body, that he was searching. Sounds interesting, but I don´t think that it is right.
I think, that the question is: "What type of character is tsutomu nihei?"
Is he such a great and genius man with a weird fantasy, the ability to think in 10 ways and to build a big and complex storyline that will further generations think about.?
Or is he just a creative and chaotic man, with his much fantasy and a big drug usage?
Maybe the ending and all the details that makes no sense are only randomly developed from temporary ideas from him. Maybe there is no big question behind this all. Maybe he is such a confused man like me!?
I think now, that the networkgenes could only exist in a mixture of human and silicon genes. But killy killed the silicons all the time and never thought about that. Or simply: "His enemy was the key of his quest"
Why this "killy-clone" appears is what I can´t find out. Maybe nihei wanted to make another book and had no time or something like that. Or he just wanted to end the story. But nihei is a sadist, because someone let search something in 10 books and when this person finds it to end the story is really invidious.
