I have a theory I'd like to put out. I'm not syreif anyone's covered it yet so if anyone has a thread on it please let me know. We are al familiar with Killy's big battle with Davinel. At that time it seems that Dhomochevsky dies and Killy gets pretty beat up too. The Davinel dies. We see Killy regenerating his body over a long period of time and then he awakens to continue his journey. But what if that wasn't him? Strange events take place when Davinel is destroyed in the net sphere if you watch closely. What if somehow Davinel or Dhomo came back as a regenerated Killy? Dhomo and Killy do look very similar... And "Killy" shows a chilling excitment upon recovering his GBE... Even Davinel's virtual self looks a lot like Killy (though it may just be the art style of the manga). Maybe Davinel wanted to pick up where Killy left off, so that he could finaly gain access to the net sphere. On top of it all, we have a Killy-looking silicon creature chasing after "Killy" near the end. Perhaps new and improved, still trying to complete his mission? Maybe this is what realy happened and maybe Killy never actually made it to his goal... Maybe on Earth... And maybe in the future...[/img] |

All of Nihei's human character designs are rather similar, at least in Blame. It's definitely Killy after he regenerates - his attachment to the GBE is nothing new. Dhomo was considerably more talkative than Killy, and the Killy-clone at the end was just a Safeguard agent - probably a similar "model" to Killy, some sort of Pre-Safeguard agent. |

More talkative than Killy? Honestly; who is there to talk to in the megastructure? XD What about the possibility of Davinel becoming Killy to conitinue trying to gain access to the netsphere? Near the end of volume 8 he disintegrates after almost crossing the "river". All that's left of him is a mist. Then, in the panels just before Killy begins healing it cuts to the river again, mist included. It always bugged me that it was shown. It's also been pointed out that the Killy-looking safeguard has a cut on his lip, one just like Killy had. But would a new safeguard have battle damage? I am not saying that this is what is going on. Only that when these points are brought together they produce this outcome, and should be considered. I can see Dhomo or more likely Davinel doing this (Davinel being the hacker he is) and then there is the Killy-looking safeguard chasing after him; hunting him, more like. This is the first safeguard we've seen that wasn't instant, out-of-the-wall silicon violence. There are just a bunch of strange things. |

wait... if that renovated Killy is either Domo or Davinel, why would he have memory of the dog and the woman and the other 3 safeguards? (the first few pages of log 51, first part of vol 10) |
