Hi I'm kind of new to the forum. I started reading Blame! again in its Japanese form. I noticed that the English translation for the AI who appears in Touha heavy industries is 'Mensab' メンサーブ which in Japanese sounds a lot like 'Main server', a lot of English words in Japanese are made shorter in this way to make it easier for Japanese people to say but the translation might be lost on a lot of none Japanese.

This makes a lot more sense to me since on the Japanese wiki it says she is the central AI of the Touha tower. The publishers of the English version should really update this to make the story easier for people to understand.

so you speak japanese? that´s great. maybe you could shed some light on Biomega or even translate some Sidonia no Kishi.

Any additional insight to help decode Blame is very helpful. I still feel like there is a lot of story lost in translation for us English speaking folk. I've read the official translations and fan translations, and there is even some differences in them. But reading both has helped.
