I tried to make a timeline but there are some inconsistencies. I dont know if this is because of incorrect translation or a mistake by Nihei.
The most important question for me is, when exactly did Nyaldee turn up ?
2105 construction of the colony on mars begins
2272 drone hazard on mars happens (according to Nishu in ch14)
2279 Microvolt founded (according to Nishu in ch14)
2397 Loew disappers (according to Nishu ch19) [608 years ago]
2820 Loew seals away the Reverse Phasing Image Polymer and disappears [186 years ago] (according to Loew´s agent in ch21)
2826 Zeru Labs shuts down [180 years ago] (according to scientist of Narain in ch 17)
3005 the time when the story begins
mankind has succeeded in sending a manned flight to mars
6 months later, the mars ship returns and infects all mankind on earth with the N5S virus
but according to Narain (ch 25)
2305 700 years ago an insect is found on mars which leads to the destruction of the colony
also Reload is discovered on earth, she is over 300 years old
a terrorist act destroys all digital data and leads to a (technological) decline of earth
2505 200 years alter, Nyaldee is born

No. At the moment nothing in Biomega except for the mere name Toha heavy industries hints to any relation with the world portrait in Blame.
And when I write at the moment, I really mean at all. We haven´t figured Biomega out completely yet, but it is highly unlikely that something as big as a clear relation to blame would be missed for so long.

I think the flavor of Biomega's setting is pretty different as well. While it's all Sci-fi, Biomega is littered with a quest for eternal life and/or the ability to shape the world in one's own image. That seems almost supernatural when compared to BLAME!, which is more rooted in machines and structure instead of prophetic chemical and biological agents.
Who cares if they're connected anyways? It doesn't change the overarching story of each.
